New church community center

This 10,800-square-foot pre-engineered metal building, situated at 1900 Huntsville Highway in Fayetteville, Tennessee, includes a gymnasium, classrooms, restrooms, and a kitchen. Architect Michael Stewart provided the design and Elrod Engineering was the structural engineer on the project.

Project Manager Tim Rohling and Superintendent Sammy Dickey had lots of challenges to overcome on this project. Non-stop rain put the project behind schedule by three months and the discovery of rock on the site that couldn’t be blasted, but had to be hammered, added to the scope of the project.
