Multi-building construction and renovation

This project included the coordination and scheduling of five separate construction packages across 10 buildings on a single 49-acre site. The scope of the project for this manufacturer of customizable homes included construction of a 7,000-square-foot pre-engineered office building; conversion of an existing 1,800-square-foot office into a break room and training facility; renovation of a 5,800-square-foot office building; construction of two new security buildings; construction of a 6,300-square-foot concrete testing pad, complete with air, water and power connections; and construction of a new 2,000-square-foot showcase pad.

In another part of the campus, the Brindley team constructed a new, 9,000-square-foot office, break room and training facility, a 5,000-square-foot maintenance building and two 2,500-square-foot lumber storage buildings. Further work included grading, paving and lighting for a 60-car parking area as well as a 300-car parking area. This project was awarded the 2009 Regional Excellence in Construction Award for Pre-Engineered Metal Building Projects by the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) of North Alabama.
