Pulaski Municipal Building (City Hall)

The 10,671-square-foot Pulaski Municipal Building Exterior Renovation was a landmark project for Brindley Construction, marking the involvement of the third generation of the Brindley family in a building they originally constructed in 1965. This high-profile renovation required maintaining 24-hour public access, prompting the innovative conversion of a window into a temporary entrance with a wheelchair-accessible ramp.

Completed in April 2024, the project modernized the façade with ACM panels and aluminum storefronts while preserving the building's historic character. Key highlights included extensive demolition, landscaping, and electrical work, all executed with a focus on public safety, including temporary walkways and fencing.

Daily site visits ensured high-quality workmanship, with input from local officials guiding aesthetic decisions. By the project’s end, we replaced the entire storefront on the building, transformed two sets of double doors into one, reconstructed the entrance canopy, pressure washed the limestone panels above and below the windows that could not be painted, re-sealed the limestone and painted the brick.

With Bryan Brindley serving as project manager and Fredd Curry as the project superintendent, the municipal building was successfully transformed for contemporary use while honoring its historical significance.
