Dr. Barton Barrett Dental Office
Ardmore, Tennessee
New dental facility
Located in Ardmore, Tennessee, the project is a 3,089-square-foot wood frame building with stone and brick exterior treatments. Included on the first floor are the reception and waiting areas, six treatment rooms, lab and staff break room facilities. The second floor is dedicated to record and supplies storage.
A unique feature of the project is the multi-zone climate control system that allows patients, doctors, and staff to enjoy total comfort. Over the course of construction challenges included unsuitable soils on site under the proposed foundations. Working with a soils engineer and a structural engineer, Brindley was able to design around the issue without having to replace all the soils under the project. Despite the challenges, the project was completed in fewer than six months.
